Transportable Home Finance & Modular Home Finance

Building a transportable home is a great way to get a brand new home on land in remote areas of WA. Your home is built off-site and delivered ready-made, straight onto your property.

When arranging the finance for your transportable home it's a good idea to speak to a broker or lender with experience in this field. Many lenders don’t offer transportable or modular home financing, and because it's a relatively new field, they have limited experience in it.

Structure it wrong and your builder stops working!

Because transportable home are built off-site and transported to your block on completion, your loan needs to be structured and managed differently.

Your lender won’t pay the builder until your home has arrived on your block, because they have nothing on your land as security against the loan. And, understandably, many builders won’t work without progress payments.

So if you don’t choose your lender — and your builder — carefully, the two can quickly come to blows, causing unnecessary delays and a lot of grief.

We make sure that doesn’t happen

Our parent company, the ABN Group, also operates TR Homes — the transportable / modular homes experts. Between their undeniable expertise, and our own dedicated Home Loan Specialist (who has more than 12 years’ experience in home financing), we have you covered.

Not just because of our combined years of experience either. You also know that the people looking after your finance are on the same team as the people looking after your construction. So you don’t have to worry about unnecessary delays caused by progress payment disagreements.

Plus, thanks to our relationship with TR Homes and one key lender, we can arrange for your repayments to be paused until your home is built. So all you pay is interest on the land during the construction period.
