John Flanigan’s history with his local Football/Netball Club goes back to the inception of the Club in 1977, where it was formed with the assistance of his father and older brother who were both long standing Board Members. John played for a short time in 1979, then on the committee for three years.

Through the acknowledged efforts of his family, the Council named the Club Rooms the “Flanigan Pavillion“.
